Fasten Your Seatbelts: Dorney Park
On Sunday, we went to Dorney Park, an amusement park in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The bus ride took more than an hour, but it was worth the wait.
We were very excited when we arrived at Dorney Park. It was very interesting. There were many rides, games, and even a water park. Roller coasters are very popular at Dorney Park. I rode many of them. It was very scary. My favorite roller coaster was tall and long. We had to put on seat belts before the roller coaster was ready to start.
The roller coaster was very slow as it went up the first big hill and made its way to the top. We stopped at the top, and I was very scared. Then many people started screaming since the roller coaster started to drop down the hill. The roller coaster was very fast. After couple of seconds people were quit when the roller coaster dropped to the bottom. My heart felt like a deer hit the wall when we were finished.
However, I was happy.
I think roller coasters are like the American life. It is very fast and exciting, and you feel like don’t know what is going to happen next. We are ready for everyday when we wake up. Every day is busy in the evening. It means is Morning to afternoon’s mood goes from exciting to scary, like climbing up the first hill. When it is evening, we are happy because it is almost time to sleep. The city, the school, and the dorms will all be quiet. The next day, it will repeat again, the same as yesterday. It’s like the roller coaster, a round and a round, full of excitement and good energy.
